The options for colourful Virtual Console games in Japan keep on growing: after The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX kicked off the chromatic revolution back in June, the Japanese service has grown to welcome three more GBC titles, while Western gamers still have just the one. Next week the gap widens further, with Blaster Master: Enemy Below — known as Meta Fight EX in Japan — on the way.
Joining Trade & Battle: Card Hero and Balloon Fight GB on the service, Blaster Master: Enemy Below is a sequel to the original Blaster Master on NES, which has since had another follow-up in the form of Blaster Master: Overdrive.
The good news is that the ESRB has rated the game for digital release, meaning we should see it reach the West before too long.

Good to know more GBC stuff is on the way.
Sweet! I love Blaster Master and have yet to play this one.
@Master-Nas The ESRB has rated it. So it's likely we'll see this in NA.
wow, one of my favourite game from the NES. even if it was hard as hell and shown me no mercy.
Was the GBcolor good ?
Japan That means nothing here. There the Wii VC is alive, here not. There the GBC VC are alive, here not.
I love the original Blaster Master game. I never got to play this one so I really hope it shows up here in NA sometime soon.
There is only one gbc virtual console game in north america....
Do freaking want! We need more GBC games.
My guess is after January.
Got stuck in the VC version and Overdrive so i'm not sure if i'll give the series another chance. Surely a good game though and i very much hope it's coming to the entire west.
I just hope Nintendo's support of 3DS Virtual Console is way more stronger than the Wii's VC. They shouldn't STOP supporting the Wii's VC either and keep it going into the Wii U's life cycle.
