I thought Fox N Forests was supposed to come out today?
Is this covering everything from today to next Wednesday? Mega Man doesn't release until next week.
Also Fox n Forests is missing, unless that's a Europe only release. Waiting for a review on it.
I purchased Wizard of Legend a few days ago and it’s really fun. Love the no bullpoo difficulty
Not going to lie, this for me is the first week where I’m personally overwhelmed, not in a bad way, with amount of awesome releases. I wish I could pick more than 3 in the poll.
White Night
Little Nightmares
Fairune
Both Mega Mans
Yonder
Shin Megami
EDIT: Wizard
Getting them all! And I’m broke!
Battle Chasers!
Already played last 2 days on way to work - plays great on Switch. Some fonts a bit small and some loading are a bit long - but that is about it.
Will get Hyrule Warriors tomorrow and wish I could get the cool pre order bonus's, also got Kitten squad cuz why not.
What a week!
Please let us start choosing more than 3 games in the poll. If we're buying more than 3, and checking out more than 3, why limit our answers to only 3?
@SmaggTheSmug
Yes. Weekly download updates, naturally, cover everything for the upcoming week.
Some good stuff this week. Hyrule Warriors will be mine soon. Among sooooo many others.
Strange Journey, Mega Man, aaaand more Mega Man. Good week.
I wish that Little Nightmares price was correct. It more closer to $30 on the eshop.
I’ve had my eye on banner saga for quite some time, so I’m going to pick that up
Got Hyrule Warriors and Megaman collection 1 physical (with a code for 2). Going to buy Wizard of Legend soonish, but will put a few hours into Hyrule Warriors first. Hopefully keep me busy till E3.
Hyrule Warriors physical release, super tempted to pick up Runner 3 also.
@Taro Nice Bebop pic! That's old school. Been wanting to get Wizard of Legend but have not yet pulled the trigger.
Best week of 2018 so far.
SMT physical and maybe the Mega Man Legacy Collections. I want Hyrule Warriors, but I need to save money for the games releasing later in the year.
Banner saga and runner 3 are for sure buys for me. Considering little nightmares and wizard of legend as well
What a week! Little Nightmares, Wizard of Legend, and Banner Saga for me!
Interested in Little Nightmares. Looks like a fun little gem.
This isn't regular overwhelmed...this is ADVANCED overwhelmed. Gonna have to pick out a couple that the girlfriend will find interesting and have her pick up those so I can split up the cost a little bit.
Yonder for me. A relaxing change of pace.
After last week, where there's not much interest me, this week, there's at least 5 that I want - the aforementioned Yonder, Hyrule Warriors, Runner 3, Fairune Collection, and Megaman Legacy 1 & 2. Ok, that's six, but Megaman should have been one collection.
And there's still games like Framed, Banner Saga, Elena Temple, Wizard, Little Nightmares, and Battle Chasers which I would save for a boring week (if ever it materializes)...
Redux for the 3ds also would probably get my cash.
So pretty much everything that's released this week. If only I have 24 hours to play everyday....
@Spoony_Tech
Agreed. I was excited, confused, then disheartened. For a moment I thought I’d get Little Nightmares along with HW
Hyrule Warriors is a tough sell at $60 with no new content for me. Same as DK.
I got Battlechasers but Yonder and Banner Saga are right there for me too
Oh boy, PETA made a game...
I hear Little Nightmares is excellent. I want that one & Super Burger Time.
Baseball, Runner, and Wizard for me.
Welcome home Mega Man.
Nothing for me. I just pre-ordered the MMXLC and bought a used game at Gamestop.
Preordered Hyrule Warriors, but unfortunately I won't be able to play it until next week.
I pre-purchased both Mega Man games, & plan on picking up Battlechaser soon. Also interested in Little Nightmares & Banner Saga.
HW, Battle Chasers and banner saga. Will get SMT physical.
Framed collection for me today.
WHo in the heck chose nothing for me this week. There are so many games to choose from. My backlog is enormous. I'm choosing Battle Chasers, Shin Megami, and Banner Saga. My rule of beating a game first before purchasing going out the window. I do still want Hyrule Warriors as well. What to do?
Hmm. So is Little Nightmares only digital in the US? I can't find it anywhere physically online.
That price for Little Nightmares is wrong. It's $30.
Interested in Yonder... when price goes down a little. Exactly what happened to Wonder Boy!
Today is the greatest day I've ever known . . . BASEBALL STARS PROFESSIONAL!!!! Thank you for listening Hamster!!!
Possibly mega man collection 2
Where’s Fox n Forests?? I wanted to vote! They’re missing out on some good publicity here
Battle Chasers! Finally Amazon shipped my copy arriving tomorrow.
Off the list, Yomawari: Midnight Shadows (just because PS is stopping physical copy for vita, so I better just get it now before price jacked for vita physical game.)
Already have Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles (PS4), I did not play it, bought it for my lil girl. She already completed the main story.
And I've completed Little Nightmares & Secrets of The Maw (PS4)
Got Wizard (pretty awesome) and I picked up Dragons Crown Pro for my PS4 (pretty awesome too) so, I’m set until Mario Tennis. Have fun everyone!
Little Nightmares Complete for $12.99 is a steal.
I pre-bought Banner Saga, Battle Chasers, and Strange Journey. Not that I have time for all that lol
There is so much available, I wouldn't even know where to start. I'm sure most of it is garbage with a few gems mixed in.
Same as every other Switch re-release, Hyrule warriors should not be a full priced games. If it was around the $60cdn or $40USD i would be all over it. But $80cdn for a rehash is BS. Why the hell would i spend $80 on a 4 year old Wii U game when i can get something like God of War for the same price for a brand new release.
I dont understand how Nintendo can still justify this.
I really want to get Little Nightmares on a cart, but as with Namco Museum and Naruto UNS trilogy, Bandai Namco refuses to release anything physically for Switch.
Sucks for me to be out of space on the Switch. I need to get an SD card, I guess.
Everyone should give Runner3 a try if you like music and silly, whimsical themes. Runner2 was excellent and I’m sure 3 will be even better.
Yonder also seems like s nice relaxing experience. Might get that eventually.
@earthinheritor Because there are people that didn’t know the game existed before now and will pay full price without realizing it’s a four year old Wii U port. There’s also those that will pay full price just to have it portable on the Switch.
It’s minimal work and easy money for Nintendo.
@HeroOfCybertron
I was asking the same thing.
The 3DS eshop update really encapsulates the state of the 3DS is 2018. One epic but somewhat niche JRPG from Atlas and one dirt-cheap puzzle(?) game whose name sounds like it was made up by a 4-year-old.
@justin233 True but man is it ever a poopy way to operate such a scummy move for a company that still price fixes its games and is the only one to still do it. The only other example that comes close is EA with COD an thats a terrible thing to model after.
@earthinheritor I hear Captain Toad will be $40 at least. Yay?
I also agree that $60 for the ports is too much. $40 seems more appropriate.
Baseball Stars and Banner Saga for me......but waiting to see if either BS gets a physical version from SNK 40th or a trilogy Banner Saga on cartridge
@justin233 $40 is a much better price point. Any port should be at most $60cdn or $40usd. The worst part is they never go on sale, there are AAA titles on PC, PS4 and Xbox One that after a month or 2 start to go on sale for a decent difference. Look at The Witcher 3. One of the best and most highly coveted games of all time and you can get the GOTY for $20 now. Meanwhile 2 year old Switch games would still be $80. There is just no value in it
Baseball Stars and Burger Time for me!!
I'll almost definitely get Runner3 once some reviews come out.
I also an eager to play the demo of Urban Trial Playground . . . been on the fence about that one.
This is the week my wallet has been dreading... I can see at least 8 games I will be purchasing over the next few weeks from this list. Ugh, where do I begin?!
Hyrule Warriors for me! I'd be all over Baseball Stars Professional if I didn't already have the original MVS cart... and in my opinion, Baseball Stars 2 is a better game all around.
I actually bought more than 3: BC: Nightwar, Yonder, Little Nightmares, Hyrule Warriors, Runner 3, MM Collection, Fairune Collection.
I want the Banner Saga but physical with all 3 games included.
@Gorfvic20 Little Nightmares is available physically.
@invictus4000
I heard it’s a short run. I get completely wrecked in this game so it’s been taking me well over 5 hours to complete it
Burger Time, Mega Man, Framed, Wizard of Legend - all interesting. Not sure if I'll get them right away, but interesting.
Not sure about the Mystery title. I'd like more info on that before committing. Some great releases this week, though.
(No interest in Hyrule warriors - just not my style of game, though the theme would be appealing)
Oh my aching backlog...
So White Night's aesthetic has me intrigued, but need a review. Banner Saga looks good, but I doubt I don't have the time to get to it. Didn't even know there was a Super Burger Time, but I love Burger Time, so I must have it. The Mystery of the Hudson Case is a point & click, so that's an instabuy for me (the dev even emphasized NO hidden object, which I couldn't stand last gen lol). The Adventures of Elena Temple is an intentional throwback that I absolutely will be playing in Game Boy spinach green and I respect the humble development comments. As for Mega Man, wake me when the Mega Man X Legacy Collection drops.
@bluedogrulez - I think I’m properly prepared to come to the Nintendo Download articles and not read your posts demanding Baseball Stars Pro. The variety of ways you expressed yourself was impressive. We pretty much ran the gamut of human emotions together. Glad you will enjoy, it is an awesome game.
MEGA MAN! THE SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT! MEGA MAAAAAAAAN!
...Also Runner 3! Got both Mega Man collections and Runner 3 pre-loaded already!
Little nightmares complete edition and mega man legacy collection 1 & 2 for me this week and next.
@bimmy-lee: Ha! Yes, thanks, I certainly appreciate everyone's indulgence with my persistently stubborn commentary (which I did try to keep colorful), lol. Please know it come from a place of genuine love for the Baseball Stars franchise !! Now, let's play ball!!
Not sure where you guys pulled that price from, but Little Nightmares is not 13 bucks. It says $30 on the eshop. I thought that seemed a bit low when I saw it.
Insanely good week here. Fox n Forests is actually on the eshop, it must've missed the PR announcement due to it being added a couple hours late.
Battle Chasers physical (great so far, exactly the kind of RPG I love.) Mega Man Legacy 1 and 2 digital as I already own all those games physically across NES, SNES, PS2, PS4 (help!) and just want my favorite series on my Switch forever. Runner 3 already pre-loaded and downloading Fox and Forests now.
I will definitely be getting the 2 X Collection titles physical. I will also get the MMLC physical, too. I prefer physical, even if it is not done entirely right. Runner3 sounds good, too. I don't own HW, so maybe down the line.
@SmaggTheSmug lol sounds half-assed. Might as well countdown for bloodstained 3ds next week too
Will pickup hyrule warriors physical, white night and baseball stars.
Preordered Hyrule Warriors with the Prime discount today. I skipped the Wii U version. Looking forward to playing it.
Also super tempted to get the Megaman collection digital...
...There is a lot coming out this week! Not to mention the Street Fighter Collection coming out at the end of the month...
Urban Trial Playground only because I haven't purchased it yet! I'm sure the demo will convince me to part with some dough, though.
Nothing for me this week. But that's perfectly fine, still working through my backlog. lol
@Fake-E-Lee
I have so many difficult games that I'm going to pick this up for when I need to relax
For those who wanted to try, Arc System Works also released a trial version of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle within the Switch eShop. Try it and see if the game met your satisfaction before it goes gold.
Little Nightmare only for 12.99 USD?
Great... I will cancel my pre-order.
I pre-ordered Little Nighmares way back in March, all that stalking the dev paid off, can’t wait to play it!
Yonder is a big yes for me, it looks stunning, Hyrule Warriors has always had me curious but it will have to wait.
@bluedogrulez Nice Gehrig ref
@JJ286 I just saw that, but it doesn't appear to be available in the US. I may just have to import it...
@guamyankee: Ha, I was actually channeling Billy Corgan, though Gehrig would have been way more fitting.
Uhhh... Little Nightmares is $29.99, not $12.99...
