@Anti-Matter Thanks for the input, yeah, that "Green, Blue, Grey" logo is on back. Middle East is green, Southeast Asia is Blue, and "Official Product" is in Grey on back. It is interesting since the cart itself is a US copy. It even has the ESRB rating and gave me no problems redeeming gold coins.
So I'm guessing Nintendo just repacks the US version in a different case. So far the case is the only thing different with the lack of a rating, and the Green, Blue, Grey logo you pointed out.

@Sunsy
Oh, wait.
You said redeeming the gold coins?
Is that redeeming gold coins from every physical Switch games I bought for the eshop ?
How to redeem gold coins from my physical Switch games?
@Anti-Matter Yeah, I read online you can't redeem gold coins for another region's game. However the cart is a US copy in a Middle East/Southeast Asia box, it took it and gave me coins.
Looks like you learned something new. I always do it for new games, unless the game is over a year old. For some reason Nintendo won't give you gold points for games released more than a year ago IIRC.
On topic, looking forward to playing some more of this game later. I want to see if I can get the last sparkle on the Swordfighter level before I proceed to the next area. Trying to see how I can get them all in one level.

Apologies for double post, played more this afternoon. Did the figure skating level and the detective level. Had some fun playing that detective level, it was different. Also, I think Peach looks great as a detective.
Also, because of this game, even wearing my Princess Peach shirt today. Being a Peach fan, really liking this game so far.

Been playing last night and I noticed that when you save those yellow guys and they start dancing, Peach dances along when she's right next to them! It's so cute! I even laughed in a "that's so cute" way when I saw them dance together.
@Uncle_Franklin I noticed that when I was playing the demo. It reminds me of Mary Poppins in a way... albeit without the spoonful of sugar song of course!
I gotta say I am really enjoying this game a lot. The music, the themes, the collecting feels fun but not stressful and the little details. I wouldn’t mind this becoming a series. Japan has such a rich theater tradition so there is a lot that can be used as inspiration for a sequel.

I held off, but my daughter and I were in Gamestop the other day and she loved the demo, so yea... I got it haha
Gonna start playing it with her today. I did play the demo and enjoyed it, but I wasn't planning on buying until it was on sale. Oh well. Nintendo got me again haha
@rallydefault Hope you and your daughter enjoy it! The full game is definitely better than the demo. Honestly it's a great experience. It's still my favorite game so far this year.
@FishyS Same. Followed closely by Mario Vs. Donkey Kong. Paper Mario TTYD may pip it, but I am loving this so far. For the year seen by many as Nintendo's 'filler year', I am having a lot of fun with the output!
Also, in a way, this game has some darker overtones than one would think!
I hope this is Peach's 'thing' like Luigi has the Mansion games. I would for sure buy 'Princess Peach: Showtime! Encore!'.
Do we think Madame Grape may also become Peach's Bowser/King Boo?
BTW - I added you as a friend on the Switch. Hope that is ok!

I thought it was interesting the ESRB rating for Peach was 10+ when most Mario games are E for everyone.
And I agree, I really hope this becomes it's own sub-franchise. The 'you are living a play while also playing a game' aspect worked really well, but I bet they could do a variety of things centered around the costume changes even in somewhat different venues also if they decided they didn't want every game to be in theatre. I feel like the game doesn't get enough praise for the fact that even after playing, it doesn't easily fit into any of the 'standard' genres; it's so rare a game has that level of creativity and does it well.
Not sure how I feel about Madame Grape herself, but I liked her cast. Although the last battle was pretty hilarious.
